Roofdeck appetizers!

Kim and Tara could, quite possibly, have the greatest roof-deck in this city 🙂  Although their apartment is TEENY TINY, the common roofdeck high above Beacon Hill and overlooking the Charles River and the beautiful city of Boston….you can’t beat it on a summer evening!  So, we’re changing it up this month.  Instead of a full sit-down dinner, we’re doing appetizers high above the city.

Fresh, summery, and delicious!  These recipes are sure to be a hit at any summer gathering.

And for the vegetarians, we re-created the dish sans prosciutto…

Roofdeck appetizers: anything goes

The task: create a fun summer appetizer (we divided them into sweet and savory) – any ingredients are allowed this month!

(Technically, I took this photo 3 days after our July Chefs' Club - on the 4th of July - you can see all of the boats on the River, awaiting the fireworks and the Boston Pops Concert at the Hatch Shell! This is a great view of Boston - one of my favorite places in the city during the summer months!)
