August 2009

Boston has so many great happenings in the summer — including the LANDMARKS FESTIVAL AT THE SHELL. These are free classical concerts put on every Wednesday night at the Hatch Shell down along the Charles River. Pack up your blankets, picnics, and bottles of wine you are ready to enjoy a beautiful summer evening!

For our August Chefs’ Club adventure, we decided to take “picnicing” at the Hatch Shell up a notch 🙂

THE TASK: Make any kind of dish that you’d like, as long as it includes the special August ingredients!

INGREDIENTS: Corn, Cucumber, Zucchini, Raspberries, and Peaches.

Zucchini Poppers - delicious - with a bit of a kick! - Mer's recipe

Pork Tenderloin with Peach and Ginger sauce - Kelly's recipe. I know this looks TERRIBLY unappetizing in this presentation, but it is to die for flavorful!
